RSS feeds are a way to subscribe to constantly updated resources. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. The feed has a list of pages in chronological order that were posted on a site. Most blogs have an RSS feed for a newsreader to subscribe, with the feed containing the list of different posts. The newsreader is a program or online website that aggregates many different feeds from different sources into one area. That way a user can go to a single place and find all the content from their favorite sources. Google Reader is a popular online newsreader, and NetNewsWire is a popular desktop and mobile newsreader.
